My stay at the Surfjack Hotel was quite charming. The atmosphere was laid-back and vibrant, but I did encounter some issues with maintenance in my room. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach, yet still away from the crowded streets. The service was good, though there were some moments where I felt more warmth could make a difference. Overall, it was a nice trip with a few bumps along the way.

Rooms

The room size was great, but there were maintenance issues like a leaky sink and some worn-out furniture. My partner had to buy a candle to mask a musty smell, which was disappointing. The styling was lovely, but a little upkeep would go a long way.
Service

Generally, the staff was friendly, but my initial experiences lacked warmth. There were times I wished for more assistance or proactive service from them, although some individuals shone through, like Sai.
